Fund and watch aims to connect viable businesses to investors in a fun and innovative way mantaining transparency as its upmost mission. Fundandwatch is the first of its kind Democratized Investment Platform (DIP). Allowing investors access to business financials and business metrics but also allowing them to literally watch the businesses they fund via live cameras installed in the business' workplace. Entrepreneurs can get the funding they need to implement their ideas and Investors can literally observe as the businesses they funded are built from the ground up. Investors can also chat forum style with other investors and founders, vote on company decisions, tip employees and eventually walk throught the business using VR robots.
Investors can see the projects available for investment in the Fundandwatch.xyz website. Each project will have an investment amount which will be divided into a percentage equity participation in the business. (Example: a business is looking for a $50,000 dollar investment and is giving 35% participation in exchange. The business may emit 10 equity/share packages worth $5000 dollars each. So each equity package is worth 3.5% equity in the business.) An investor can chose to purchase as many of the packages available as he or she wants. Each project will be a legally established LLC in the country where its being run in. When an investor is ready to invest a meeting will be held at fundandwatch's law firm office to provide the investor his participation shares for the amount of money he invested which will be issued directly to the investor formalizing his participation and partial ownership in the business. If the business is profitable the investor will reap the profits in accordance to his equity participation in the business paralelly his shares may increase in value if the busines is succesful and he can later sell or trade his shares within the fundandwatch platform.
Fundandwatch's mission is to bring transparency and visibility to investors like never before. To guarantee that no investor is scammed all projects promoted on the platform are prevetted by Fundandwatch's founders . Additionally investors have access to full information: get to know the people behind the projects, their social media , linked in profiles, projections business summary etc. When an investor is ready to make an investment a meeting will take place at the law office of a reputed law firm where his investment agreement and shares be given in person at the same time as money is invested.
In the beginning of each venture the founder leading it will establish a grace period to get the business up and running. During this time logically there will be no cash inflows. Once the business is running and profitability is achieved the investors can start reaping their profits monthly or quarterly or as per agreed with the founder leading the venture. The goal is that every stakeholder gets a piece of the action.
To guarantee that a business is executed in the best way possible, the founders willl be the only ones making the decisions on the overall direction of the business. However the founder may chose to bring specific decisions to a vote or to recieve feedback from investors at any time in our platform. Investors can participate but are legally limited with decisions of the day to day operations or the overall direction of the projects as per their investor agreements.
Investing is always risky, and there is never a guarantee that the businesses you fund will succeed, but Fundandwatch will try to minimize the risk by vetting the businesses and entrepreneurs running them. We will focus primarily on promoting projects funded by people within our network who have previously experienced some success in other ventures. The goal of Fundandwatch is to channel micro investments from anyone in the world. However as a rule of thumb you should never invest more than you would be comfortable losing.
