Pollos Georgi
Jorge is a Guatemalan entrepreneur passionate about startups. He previously founded a construction app in the USA in 2016 (www.bidder.bz) which connects Latino construction workers with construction jobs, and has to this day channelled over 32,400 construction/remodeling jobs with an estimated cash flow of +USD$60MM in cash flow generated.
He more recently founded a STD testing service in the city of Medellin Colombia (www.tests911.com) which has generated over USD$150,000 in traction in the past 2 years.
In his free time Jorge enjoys traveling around the world with his black pug Javier. His hobby is exploring new cities and trying new food. Jorge likes to experiment different ventures and find product market fit rapidly. Jorge currently resides in Medellin Colombia.
Jorge has been featured in Techcrunch , the San Diego Tribune , and is a Stanford University Cardinal Ventures Alumni.
Pollos Georgi is a new business venture that seeks to replicate an existing business model and product from Guatemala and bring it into the Colombian Market.
While visiting Guatemala in 2023 , Jorge purchased the recipe from a very successful Guatemalan fast food grilled chicken chain. This fast food business focuses on offering 1 product in its menu, and it is extremely successful due to the delicious sauce that they add to every plate.
In the own words of the founder : “We are not looking to reinvent the wheel here, we are bringing an already successful product into a similar market, differentiating ourself from the typically blant Colombian competitors and scaling quickly . The idea is to start with one location, position the business, and scale rapidly and open at least 7 locations in the first year.
